In the Goa fire case, a Blue Corner Notice has been issued with the help of Interpol against night club owners Gaurav and Saurav Luthra, who have fled to Thailand. 25 people lost their lives in this accident. Goa government is now preparing for bulldozer action on this night club. North Goa DIG Varsha Sharma said that in this regard, a case has been registered against the Luthra brothers and their third fugitive partner at Anjuna Police Station on 07.12.2025 under very stringent sections of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) 2023. Search for Luthra brothers intensifies
The use of these stringent sections by the police shows that this matter is quite serious. Luthra brothers are still out of the reach of the police. Police said that the search operation has been intensified to nab the absconding accused. This case can prove to be an important case under the new law (BNS).
5 people arrested so far
Goa DIG Varsha Sharma and SP North Goa Harishchandra Madkaikar held a joint press conference. DIG Sharma said that till now five people associated with the club management have been arrested. He confirmed that look out notices have been issued against the owners and partners. Warrants have also been issued against the three owners. In the case of Luthra brothers, the DIG said that they have left the country. The police is now trying to bring him back to India. For this the help of CBI and Interpol is being taken. He clarified that at the time of the incident the owner was in Delhi and not in Goa.
Bulldozer action started
Meanwhile, a demolition campaign has started against Romeo Lane Club located in Vagator. Tourism Deputy Director Dheeraj Wagle said that the encroachment on the beach will be demolished. A total area of 198 square meters is to be demolished. Officials said that no action will be taken on private property. DIG said that so far 25 bodies have been taken to the hospital in this incident. Magisterial investigation into the matter is also going on.
