Make potato wedges from sweet potatoes-
Material-
For this recipe, you will need 3 sweet potatoes, 3 tbsp olive oil, ¾ tsp garlic powder, ¾ tsp chili flakes, 1½ tsp oregano, ¼ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme and salt as per taste.
Method of preparation-
First, preheat your oven to approximately 430 degrees Fahrenheit. Now wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, cut them in half and then cut them into equal sized wedges. Dry the wedges thoroughly so that they become more crispy. If you want, you can keep them with the peel also, this provides more fiber.
Now put the wedges in a big bowl and add olive oil to it. In a separate bowl, mix garlic powder, chili flakes, oregano, black pepper, rosemary and salt well. Pour this masala on the wedges and toss with hands so that each piece gets a light but even coating of the masala.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the wedges at a distance so that they do not stick to each other. Bake them for 15-20 minutes, then take them out, turn them and bake them again for 10-15 minutes until they become golden and crisp.
Method of serving-
You can serve prepared sweet potato wedges with tomato ketchup, cheesy dip or chipotle sauce. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which is liked by everyone from children to adults.
