Gurugram Crime: Gurugram Police of Haryana has arrested the girl who filed a false rape case. The girl, along with Jitendra alias Bittu, had conspired to extort money and create pressure. The girl had filed a similar case earlier also. But this time she could not escape from the police.

In fact, on December 11, 2025, the girl had given a complaint in the DLF Phase-2 police station that on the pretext of a job interview, she was called to MG Road Metro station and raped in a moving car. A case was registered on the basis of the complaint, but during investigation the allegations could not be confirmed through CCTV footage, call details and other technical evidence.
Investigation revealed that accused Jitendra alias Bittu had created this false story along with the girl. Its purpose was to create pressure for revenge and extort money. By amending the sections in the case, the police arrested the girl on December 14, 2025, produced her in the court and took her on police remand for two days.
Police spokesperson Sandeep Singh said that according to police records, the girl had also registered a case of rape in July 2025 at the police station Sector-14, Gurugram. Gurugram Police has said that strict action will continue against those who misuse the law in false cases. It is noteworthy that earlier too the girl had filed a similar fake case. The police have now changed the sections in this case and are investigating further.
