But some people hesitate to eat ginger. The reason is the pungency of ginger’s taste. But there is such a recipe which will make you feel like eating ginger again and again. Eating this recipe will make your mouth sweet and your body will also remain healthy. The name of this recipe is Ginger Halwa, which tastes very delicious.
Some ingredients are also required to make ginger halwa. Like ginger, jaggery, almonds, cashews, raisins, ghee, walnuts and dry ginger. With all these ingredients, you can easily make ginger halwa at home and consume it during the winter season.
First of all, dip some rice in water in a bowl. Then take ginger and remove its peel. After removing the peel of ginger, grind it coarsely in a mortar or mixer. After that keep it in some vessel. Then grind the soaked rice in a mortar or mixer.
Keep in mind that after grinding rice, add water to dilute the mixture. Now put a pan on the stove and when the pan becomes hot, add desi ghee. Then when the ghee melts completely, add ground ginger into it. After adding ginger, keep frying for two to three minutes.
After roasting the ginger, now add the ground rice mixture to it. After that keep stirring for about 10 to 12 minutes, until the mixture becomes completely thick. Now add jaggery in it and let the jaggery melt and keep frying.
When the jaggery gets completely mixed in the ginger halwa, add dry ginger and all the dry fruits to it and then keep frying. Then after some time your ginger pudding will be ready. Be sure to consume ginger halwa during cold days. One thing to keep in mind is that people suffering from diseases like ulcers, constipation and heartburn should not consume it.
