Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will digitally inaugurate the Vande Bharat Express running between Secunderabad in Telangana to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on Sunday. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan will be personally present at the Secunderabad Railway Station during the inauguration ceremony of the new train.
Railway sources said that the regular service of this new train will start on January 16 and the booking of tickets has started from Saturday. South Central Railway (SCR) said in a release that Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express (20833) will leave Visakhapatnam at 5.45 am and reach Secunderabad at 2.15 pm.
According to SCR, the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam train (20834) will leave Secunderabad at 3:00 PM and reach Visakhapatnam at 11:30 PM. According to the release, this train will stop at Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Khammam and Warangal in both the directions.
Train carrying capacity of 1,128 passengers
Railways said that this train, consisting of 14 air-conditioned chair car and two executive air-conditioned chair car coaches, has a capacity of 1,128 passengers. It will provide high speed transport facility between the two stations.
