Ghzaibad News: Ghaziabad Police arrested two murderers carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 each in an encounter under Operation Langra. In the firing that took place on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway, Officer alias Bhalu was shot in the leg, while the second accused Shehzad was caught from the spot.
Ghaziabad Police has achieved major success under Operation Langra and arrested two bounty killers after the encounter. A reward of Rs 25-25 thousand was announced on both the miscreants. This action was taken during checking on Delhi-Saharanpur highway.
According to the police, during checking, the suspected bike-riding miscreants were signaled to stop, but they started firing at the police. In retaliation, one of the accused officers alias Bear was shot in the leg, due to which he got injured. The injured criminal has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The second accused Shahzad was caught from the spot.
Police said that both the accused have serious charges of murder by shooting in Dabur Talab area. A case is already registered in this matter in Ankur Vihar police station. During the encounter, the police retaliated in self-defense.
According to the information, more than a dozen cases of robbery and theft are registered against the injured accused officer alias Bear in many states including Uttar Pradesh. The police is interrogating both the accused and gathering information about their criminal network and other incidents. Police officials said that the campaign against criminals will continue.
