Greater Noida: On Wednesday, Yamuna Authority carried out a big and effective campaign against illegal encroachments in Dankaur area. In this special campaign, which was conducted with the aim of removing encroachment on the authority’s land for a long time, about 46,000 square meters of land was completely freed from encroachment. This campaign was conducted on the instructions of Yamuna Authority CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh. Under his orders, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Shailendra Singh led the campaign and was present at the spot and monitored the entire operation. He bluntly said that illegal occupation of any authority land will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Strict action will be taken against illegal construction
Shailendra Singh said that the top priority is to free the government and authority land from encroachment on the land of 7 percent population of farmers connected to Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway interchange and to speed up the development projects of the area. The authority believes that development work gets affected due to illegal encroachments, hence now a strict stance has been taken against them. The officials involved in the campaign made it clear that in future, if anyone does illegal construction on the authority’s land, strict legal action will be taken against him. The expenses incurred on the action will also be recovered from the encroachers and a criminal case will be registered.

Due to this, land worth crores of rupees has been freed from encroachment and the way has been cleared for future development projects. This campaign is a clear message to the encroachers that now illegal occupation of government and authority land will not get protection at any level.
