Ingredients for making glouty kebabs
1/2 kg minced meat
75-100g raw papaya (cut into pieces)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger (sliced)
1 tbsp garlic
2 black cardamom seeds
2 tsp poppy seeds (roasted and crushed)
4 black peppercorns
1/2 tsp cinnamon grind
2 tbsp coconut (grated and lightly roasted)
2 pieces mace
5 Green Cardamom
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup onion (fried in half cup ghee)
1/4 cup coriander (finely chopped)
1 tbsp green chillies (finely chopped)
3 tbsp gram flour (roasted)
Ghee (for frying kebabs)
Method of making Galouti Kebab
To make Galouti Kebab, first of all, mix the crushed ingredients in all the powdered ingredients and keep them on the side for four to five hours.
Now add green coriander, green chillies, gram flour and egg. Mix meat in it and knead for a while like flour.
– Now make round patties from it. Keep it in the fridge for half an hour.
Heat ghee in a pan. Fry the kebabs. When it turns light brown from one side, flip it over.
– Light the flame. Serve them well after adding lemon juice.
