A case of theft of furniture worth lakhs has come to light from the office of RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and Forest and Environment Minister Tej Pratap Yadav in Bihar government. There was a stir in the department after the matter came to the fore. According to Vishal Kumar, personal assistant to Forest and Environment Minister, a few days ago, furniture worth lakhs was brought to Aranya Bhavan, which was also shown to Minister Tej Pratap Yadav. But, when he reached the office last day, all the furniture was found missing.
He further told that the investigation started after the furniture went missing and it was found that the contractor Bablu Singh had taken all the furniture to his house. The furniture brought for Tej Pratap’s office was kept on the terrace of Aranya Bhavan. But, recently it was found that there is no furniture there. Minister Tej Pratap’s PA Vishal Kumar said that how can someone take furniture from the office to his home without any information.
Mobile was stolen from home a few months ago
This is the second case of theft of Forest and Environment Minister Tej Pratap Yadav’s belongings. Earlier in 2022, a case of theft of iPhone from his residence Two Stand Road came to light, after which there was an uproar. Minister Tej Pratap Yadav himself lodged an FIR in the secretariat police station. Tej Pratap Yadav’s servant Chandan was accused of stealing the iPhone. It was told that Chandan himself had stolen the mobile and made it disappear.
