Deoghar: IRCTC has announced a special tour package to visit major religious places in South India. This journey named Dakshin Bharat Yatra with Do Dham will be operated through Bharat Gaurav tourist train. This special train will leave from Bettiah on 18 January 2026. It will reach Baleshwar via Jasidih. It will last for a total of 14 nights and 15 days. Under which travelers will be able to visit many pilgrimage sites of South India simultaneously.
Where will you visit?
IRCTC official said that this journey is being organized under the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and ‘Move India Best India’ campaigns. Through which an effort is made to connect passengers to different parts of the country. In this journey, Vivekananda Rock Memorial of Kanyakumari, famous Meenakshi Temple of Madurai, Rameshwaram Jyotirling, Guruvayoor Temple, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Trivandrum and finally Puri Sri Jagannath Dham will be visited.
Three types of facilities available for passengers
IRCTC has prepared packages in three different categories for passengers. The first package is Standard Package which is priced at Rs 27,535. In which sleeper class train travel will be accommodated in non-AC room. Along with this, facility of vegetarian food will be available. That is the second sleeper class package. Whose price is Rs 37,500. In which train journey in 3 AC class, stay in AC hotel, along with vegetarian food and darshan will be offered in AC vehicle. The third category is the Comfort Class package. Whose price is Rs 51,405. In this, train journey in 2 AC class, stay in AC hotel, along with vegetarian food and darshan in AC vehicle will be provided. This includes security and travel insurance.
This special train, being run by IRCTC, is going to provide boarding facility to passengers from many stations. Like Bettiah, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur Junction, Hajipur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur Junction, Kiul, Jasidih, Asansol, Bankipur, Medinipur, Kharagpur, Baleshwar.
