Went. The action to rescue Indian citizens from the cyber slavery racket going on in Myanmar is continuing. Recently, Myanmar Army freed 360 Indians trapped there, which included 6 youths from Bihar. All these are from Mayawati’s K.K. Rescued from the park. Myanmar Army sent them safely to Thailand from where they were all brought to Delhi Airport on 18 November. After reaching Delhi, the team of Economic Offenses Unit (EOW) took the youth of Bihar under their protection and after interrogation handed them over to their families. Dharmendra Kumar, resident of Delha of Gaya district, was included in this group. Dharmendra, who had worked in Pune companies, had lost his job and his search for a new job dragged him into the trap of fraudulent agents.

Luxury hotel in Thailand… and then an ambush like death
On October 20, a driver was found at Bangkok Airport, who dropped Dharmendra at a five-star hotel. There was another interview and everything seemed professional and genuine. But what happened after this turned Dharmendra’s life upside down. The second driver came with a shining car. Dharmendra felt that he was going to get a job now. The car reached hilly roads, then rough terrain. Suddenly many armed people surrounded and he was kidnapped at gunpoint.

Forced march towards Myanmar, hungry and thirsty, imprisoned in closed room
Dharmendra and 4-5 youths were taken on foot through the hilly path for several hours. Many foreign looking bikers were deployed on the road. He was locked in a guest house for three days. Later it was revealed that they had entered Myanmar. Here their real motive was revealed – they were to be ‘sold’ to the next destination for cyber slavery.
Myanmar Army raid, turning point of life
On the third day, suddenly a major action was taken by Myanmar Army and Police. Dharmendra and other youths were evacuated safely from there. Dharmendra says- When the raid took place, we thought that maybe bullets would be fired, but that was the turning point of our life. The army saved us. During the raid, the police also freed many foreign nationals already trapped there – including those from Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh.
