Swaraj Kaushal Death: Sushma Swaraj’s husband and senior lawyer Swaraj Kaushal has passed away today. He breathed his last at the age of 73. He was also the former Governor of Mizoram. MP Bansuri Swaraj is his daughter. Kaushal’s last rites will be performed today at 4.30 pm at the Lodhi Road cremation ground.
New Delhi: Swaraj Kaushal, husband of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and father of BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, passed away today (4 December 2025). He breathed his last at the age of 73. Delhi BJP confirmed his death and gave this sad news to the country. Swaraj Kaushal was counted among the eminent senior advocates of the country. He was also the former Governor of Mizoram and in public life he was known as a very honest and sharp thinking administrator. BJP said that his last rites will be performed today at 4:30 pm at Lodhi Road cremation ground. The demise of Swaraj Kaushal, who left a strong mark in both the fields of politics and law, is being considered a big loss for the country.
