New footage released by police provides a timeline of Paul Doyle’s journey to the parade in Liverpool, where he crashed into a crowd during the celebrations.
The BBC also obtained exclusive footage from a neighbor showing Doyle leaving his address, while video from his own car’s dash cam shows him heading towards Dale Street, where the incident occurred.
The married father-of-three was traveling into the city center to pick up friends from the parade when he “lost his temper” and drove his Ford Galaxy straight into fans returning home from Liverpool FC’s Premier League title celebrations.
Doyle, who admitted 31 offences, was sentenced to 21 years and six months in prison.
