Dense fog has increased the number of road accidents in Uttar Pradesh. Serious accidents have been reported in different areas from Greater Noida to Unnao, Amroha, Bulandshahr and Aligarh. Due to dense fog, vehicles collided with each other on the highway at many places, in which many people were injured. These accidents happened due to very low visibility.
12 vehicles collided on Eastern Peripheral Highway
Due to dense fog on the Eastern Peripheral Highway of Greater Noida, about 12 vehicles collided one after the other. The accident happened in Bambavad-Badalpur police station area. The video of the accident has also surfaced, in which a car and a truck are seen colliding with each other. Police reached the spot and removed the damaged vehicles and admitted the injured to the hospital.
Bike and car collision in Aligarh
Due to fog, there was a massive head-on collision between a bike and a car in Rigaspuri village of Jawan police station area of Aligarh. The youth riding the bike was seriously injured in the accident, while the car driver fled with the vehicle. Police reached the spot after getting information and are busy investigating the matter.
Half a dozen vehicles collided in Amroha
Half a dozen vehicles collided with each other due to fog near Shahbazpur Dor village of Gajraula Kotwali area on National Highway-9 in Amroha. One person died in the accident, while many people were injured. After the accident, there was a long jam on the highway, which was cleared by the police after a lot of effort.
Half a dozen vehicles collided in Bulandshahr
About half a dozen vehicles collided in dense fog on National Highway-34 in Arnia police station area of Bulandshahr. 10 passengers were injured in the accident. The police took the injured to the hospital and with the help of a crane, removed the vehicles and cleared the jam.
Huge collision between dumper and auto in Unnao
There was a massive collision between a dumper and an auto near Makur village of Ajgain police station area of Unnao. In the accident, three people traveling in the auto died tragically on the spot, while four people were seriously injured. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
In view of the frequent accidents, the police and administration have appealed to the people to be careful while driving during fog, keep the speed low and maintain a safe distance.
