- When a computer is connected to a network, it is called an IP address.

For windows xp
step 1: Click Start, then select the control panel and click on Network and Internet connection (if you can’t find it, go to the next option) and double click on the network connection.
Step 2: Right click on the Highlight and Local Area Connection icon; Click on the states and go to support. Now you will see the IP address.
If your computer is connected to the wireless network, click on the wireless network connection icon.
For windows 7
step 1: Click Start, then go to Control, Network and Internet and go to Network and Sharing Center.
Step 2: In the task list, click Change adapter settings. Right click on the Highlight and Local Area Connection icon. Then click on status and go to detail. After this, you will see the IP address.

For windows vista
step 1: Click Start – Go to Control Panel – Network Go to Internet – Network and Sharing.
Step 2: In the task list, click on Manage Network Connection. Highlight and right click on the Local Area Connection icon; Click on the status and go to detail. After this, you will see the IP address.
For windows 8
step 1: Go to the control panel.

1) Press Windows key + F, a search box will appear, input control panel here and press enter.
2 Press Windows key + R and run box will appear, input control panel and press enter.
3) Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.
4) Apart from this, users can also enter the control panel in the search bar on the right side of the screen.
Step 2: Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing will appear, then click on the left side in the adapter settings.
step 3: Highlight and right click on Ethernet. Go to status, go to details. Here you will see the IP address.

For windows 10
step 1: Go to the control panel. Press Windows key + X simultaneously and select Control Panel.
Step 2: Click Network and Internet. Go to Network and Sharing Center. Then click on Change adapter settings on the left
Step 3: Highlight and right click on Ethernet. Go to status, go to details. Here you will see the IP address.
step 1: Click on the network icon in the task tray (it will look like a Wi-Fi signal or computer). Now go to network settings.
Click on the Windows symbol and then select the Settings button on the bottom left corner. After this, the Settings page will appear, then go to Network and Internet.

For mac os
step 1: Click on the Apple icon, select the system from the Apple drop-down list.
Step 2: Click on the network icon.
Step 3: In the left-hand column, select Ethernet (for wired networks) or Wi-Fi (for wireless networks). After this the IP address will appear in small print in the direct network connection.
For Crom System
step 1: Select the time in the corner at the bottom right of the screen.
If you do not see the Crom OS shelf, tap or click in the bottom right corner of the screen to show it.
Step 2: Select your Wi-Fi network in the pop up window.
Step 3: Select the network icon.
Step 4: Your Crom Book’s IP address and MAC will appear in a pop up window. The MAC address will be listed as Wi-Fi.
Step 5: Double check your Wi-Fi name and it will pop up on the Settings page. Click on the network. After this you will see the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
