If seen sector wise, in some areas the AQI is 186 but in many places it has reached 396. The condition of Sector-11 is said to be the worst. The situation is also not good in Ballabhgarh, here AQI ranges from 160 to 242. People are worried. Burning eyes, headache, difficulty in breathing, all these have now become common things.
While talking to Local18, Deepak says that he goes to Palwal job daily from Faridabad and keeps going to Faridabad for marketing. Deepak says that as soon as I reach the market area of Faridabad, burning sensation in the eyes and difficulty in breathing starts. The air is so bad that the smoke entering the nose goes straight up to the head. Deepak believes that the biggest reason is burning of junk in the open. Scrap warehouses are open at many places in Faridabad and people burn plastic there to extract copper wires. The poisonous smoke rising from that burning wire is spread throughout the city. Deepak says that whirlwinds of smoke can be seen from a distance. People burn everything just out of their greed but the entire city is suffering its consequences.
According to Deepak, there are a large number of factories and industries in the city. The smoke coming out of these makes the air more poisonous. On top of that, the population is also increasing, due to which the number of vehicles and their smoke is also increasing every day. Deepak also says that strict action should be taken against those who burn garbage and junk in the open. There should be a complaint number for this so that people can report and immediate action is taken against the culprits.
What is the AQI on Monday in Gurugram?
Talking about Gurugram, the situation there is not much different. The average AQI there is between 200 to 340. In areas like Sector-56, AQI has reached 304. Other areas are no less poisonous. Here too the story is the same, abundance of PM2.5 and PM10. These fine particles do not just stop at the lungs but also affect the heart and brain.
Neeraj Kumar, who commutes from Delhi to Faridabad every day, is also feeling the toxicity of the air. Talking to Local18, Neeraj says that there is pressure in the chest due to burning sensation in the eyes, heaviness in breathing. There is so much fog that even the roads have started appearing blurry. If you take off the mask, your breathing becomes dry. Neeraj advises that everyone should take special care at this time.
It is noteworthy that the air is good from 0 to 50. 51 to 100 is satisfactory, 101 to 200 is moderate, 201 to 300 is poor, 301 to 400 is very poor, and 401 to 500 is dangerous. Faridabad and its surrounding cities are now moving towards the worst situation. This is not just a story of statistics, it has become the reality of the people of Faridabad.
