Kovid Care Centers have been set up for the treatment of Kovid-19 patients under all the 11 districts of Delhi Government. But now due to less number of patients, action is being taken to convert these centers into child care centres.
Let us inform that experts believe that the coming third wave of corona can be very fatal for children. There is a possibility of infecting a large number of children in this. Due to this, the Delhi government is arranging more and more child care facilities in its hospitals. At the same time, the district administration has also gradually started converting the existing Kovid-19 center into a child care center. The general public was also informed by issuing an order in this regard on behalf of the South-West District Administration of Delhi Government. It is said that 6 Kovid Care Centers have now been converted into Child Care Centers. All these Kovid centers have been converted under the supervision of Nodal Officer IAS Sarjana Yadav.
This Kovid-19 center running under South-West district has 40 beds in Community Center located in Sector 9 of Dwarka, 15 beds in SDMC School Najafgarh, 20 beds in SDMC School Kakrola, 15 beds in SDMC School Sagarpur, SDMC School in Mahavir Enclave. Child care facility of 16 beds and 20 beds has been provided in SDMC School Nawada.
According to the district administration, oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders and medical staff have been fully arranged at all these Kovid-19 care centers. Along with this, arrangements for food have also been made here by the district administration. At the same time, full care of sanitization is also being taken here.
The district administration has also informed that after converting all these Kovid-19 centers into child care centres, arrangements have been made to provide proper medical and care to all the children. At the same time, no charge of any kind will have to be paid for admission at all these centers. It will be completely free. It has been made clear and clarified by the district administration that all these preparations have been made in view of the possibility of third wave of Corona.
Let us inform that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had recently held a meeting with experts and doctors. During the third wave, 37,000 cases have been predicted every day. At the same time, the third wave of Corona is also likely to be very fatal for children. Due to all this, the Delhi government is working to further improve the health system.
Mother and child care new blocks are being prepared in these hospitals
A new block of 1500 beds is also being prepared especially for mother-child care in Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Hospital (LNJP Hospital). Similarly, Babasaheb Dr. A new block of 463 beds capacity is also being built in Ambedkar Hospital dedicated to Mother and Child Care. In the Chacha Nehru Children’s Hospital, major changes are being made in the health services regarding the medical facilities of the children. Special arrangements are being made at Shri Dada Dev Maitri and Shishu Chikitsalaya.
In the coming time, this hospital will become Kovid Dedicated
A new block of 270 beds is being built in Acharya Shri Bhikshu Hospital, which has now been instructed to increase to 400 beds. In the coming time, these 400 beds can be fully dedicated to Kovid-19.
