Janjgir Champa: In the CGPSC examination, a promising youth from Janjgir Champa district, Rantidev, has made his place in the final list and secured 38 ranks. Rantidev Rathore, son of middle class farmer Vinod Kumar Rathore and Mata Krishna Devi Rathore, has got selected for the post of Naib Tehsildar by securing 38th rank in the State Service Examination on the basis of hard work, struggle and self-confidence. The success of Rantidev, who comes from a farmer family, remains a source of inspiration for the youth.
Journey from primary education to job
Rantidev received his early education from Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Naila-Janjgir, after which he did B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from NIT Raipur. As soon as he completed his studies, he got employed as a Senior Electrical Engineer in JK Paper Limited, Surat (Gujarat) at a salary of Rs 50 thousand per month and worked there for two years, but with the decision to go into administrative service, he left his job of Rs 50 thousand in the year 2022.
After leaving the job, Rantidev came to Bilaspur and prepared continuously for three years, in the first attempt he cleared the prelims and interview despite preparing in limited time, but due to low marks in Mains, he got 217th rank and could not be allotted the post, in the second attempt he got good guidance under the test series of Chandra Academy, got 145th rank in the test series, but he missed it by only two marks this time too, the third attempt (2024) proved to be decisive, he Working on his shortcomings, he scored 665 marks in Mains and was selected for the post of Naib Tehsildar with 38th rank.
Preparation method and strategy
Rantidev says that he used to study in the library for 8 to 10 hours daily, and used Telegram groups, YouTube channels (Study IQ, Drishti IAS) to pay special attention to current affairs and during preparation, kept social media Facebook-Instagram completely deactivated, so that attention does not get distracted. Rantidev told his interview experience that it was held on 12th November in the afternoon shift, which lasted for about half an hour, in which there was a panel of four members, by whom Personality was evaluated by conducting detailed interviews on topics related to electrical engineering, current events, his role in administration, views on corruption.
Rantidev says that the time after leaving the job was very challenging, but his parents, sister and friends provided mental, physical and financial support at every level. Even after missing by two marks in the last attempt, the family supported him and inspired him to move forward. He told the youth who were preparing that, “Patience is the biggest weapon in competitive exams, you have to identify your mistakes and correct them. Success comes only through proper guidance, right strategy and continuous repetition. If you are in the right direction, then if not today then tomorrow you will definitely get success.”
