A 12 feet long python was found near the primary health center in Lavjoda village, the forest department released it safely in the valleys of Dalma, the incident gave a message of thrill and balance in the village.
jamshedpurEarly morning often brings peace and tranquility, but the morning of a farmer in Lavjoda village of Bodam police station area brought a different story, As soon as the farmer went out to do farming, his eyes fell on a strange bulge lying near the campus of the Primary Health Center, At first he thought it might be some wood or a big bag, but after a few seconds when the thing shook slightly, he lost his senses, It was not just any object, but a huge python about 10 to 12 feet long,
As soon as the farmer saw the python, he started shouting loudly in panic. Hearing his voice, the people of the village came out of their houses and ran to the spot. Within a few minutes the whole area was filled with people and everyone stood at a distance and started looking at this huge snake. The python was so huge that fear and curiosity were visible simultaneously among children and women. However, it was a matter of relief that the python’s stomach seemed full and it was not moving much. Perhaps he was resting after swallowing some prey.
Controlled with the help of nets and poles
The villagers showed understanding and immediately informed the forest department. The forest department team reached within some time. The villagers were holding their breath as to how such a big python would be caught. The team first evacuated the surrounding area and then carefully started the process of catching the python. To ensure that no one gets hurt, it was slowly controlled with the help of special nets and sticks.
After about half an hour of hard work, the team caught the python safely. As soon as the python was placed in a sack-like bag, the villagers heaved a sigh of relief. During the entire incident, there was fear as well as excitement among the villagers, because very few people get the chance to see such a big snake.
The python disappeared among the trees
The Forest Department later informed that the python is completely safe and it would be appropriate to return it to the forest. For this reason, the team took the python to the Dalma valleys and released it into its natural environment. After gaining freedom in the forest, the python gradually disappeared among the trees.
For Lavjoda village, this incident was no less than a movie scene – the sudden movement in the silence of the morning, the mobilization of the village, the action of the forest department and finally the safe return of one life. This incident was not only exciting, but also gave a beautiful message of maintaining balance between humans and forest creatures.
