Faridabad Gurugram's air poisonous again, AQI crosses 250 in many areas

The air of Faridabad and Gurugram is continuously getting worse. In many areas, AQI reached between 170 to 279, causing respiratory problems and making the situation dangerous for those who go out daily. Increasing traffic, construction and industrial activities are further increasing pollution. Clean air is now a big challenge.

Faridabad: The air of Faridabad and Gurugram is continuously deteriorating these days. The AQI figures in different areas of both the cities are even more worrying. At some places the air is in poor category and at other places it is touching the level of very bad. This situation is making everyday life more difficult for people living in cities, especially for those who have trouble breathing or who go out for work every day.

The air in these areas is poisonous

A big difference in AQI was seen at different places in Faridabad. The air of Sector-30 was recorded the worst, where AQI reached around 198. This level is considered close to the very poor category and such air can affect health for a long time. The situation in Sector-14 was a little better but here also the AQI was around 170, which clearly shows the severity of pollution. In the rest of the areas of the city, the average AQI was recorded between 167 to 177. This means that the overall air quality of Faridabad continues to be in poor condition, and dust, smoke and other pollutant particles are present in large quantities in the air.

The condition of Gurugram appeared more worrying than that of Faridabad. The average AQI of the city was 277, which is considered close to the very poor category. Especially in some sectors the situation appeared more serious. AQI 279 was recorded in Sector-49, which is a condition that directly affects health and can be extremely dangerous for people with respiratory problems. AQI has reached 257 in Sector-65 which is a dangerous level.

The increasing level of pollution in these two cities is not only due to the weather but also due to traffic, construction work, dust, and industrial work going on in the surrounding areas. In such a situation, people themselves need to take precautions like wearing a mask while leaving the house, not staying outside more than necessary, and trying to keep the air in the house pure.

Clean air is now becoming a challenge in big and busy cities like Faridabad and Gurugram. These figures show that if the situation is not controlled soon, it may have a serious impact on people’s health in the coming days. To improve the air quality, both the administration and the citizens will have to take joint steps, only then the situation will be able to change.
