Deoghar’s blind daughter Ananya Jha has a melodious voice and amazing command over musical instruments. Due to the negligence of doctors, he lost his vision, but God gave him the gift of music. Ananya, who has demonstrated her art in Jharkhand and Bihar, now aims to gain recognition at the national level. According to her grandmother, Ananya has filled the house with her divinity.
Deoghar: Ananya Jha, resident of Shivram Jha Chowk, Shivganga in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is such an extraordinary talent, who has proved that true light resides not in the eyes but in the soul. Ananya is deprived of eyesight, but the grace of Mother Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music and art, is clearly visible in her speech and fingers. When she sings, her melodious voice captivates the mind, and her fingers seem to dance on the musical instruments. Ananya, born in the courtyard of her father Rajesh Jha and his wife, has today become a sadhvi of tunes.
Doctor’s negligence and received divine blessing
Ananya’s father Rajesh Jha emotionally told that Ananya was born prematurely, and she could see everything properly till six months of birth. During this time, he was consulted by many doctors of Deoghar and Ranchi, who denied any disease. But when his eyesight gradually started deteriorating, he was taken to Hyderabad. The doctor there diagnosed the true disease, but by then it was too late.
Ananya says that the negligence of the doctors may have taken away her vision, but in return God has given her such a musical blessing, due to which the notes flowing from her fingers become divine notes. When Ananya sits on musical instruments like harmonium or sitar, it feels as if the goddess of art has actually resided in her and music has spoken. The dance of his fingers on the keyboard makes every note descend from some unseen direction of the universe.
Aim to create identity at national level
Ananya’s father Rajesh Jha says that his daughter has participated in many programs in Deoghar, Jharkhand as well as in different parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and has captivated everyone with her voice. His next goal is to achieve a position at the national level by participating in many TV show programs. He believes that if Baba Baidyanath blesses him, this dream will soon be fulfilled.
Tears of pride well up in the eyes of Ananya’s grandmother Basanti Devi. She says that at one time there was darkness in the house after hearing about her granddaughter’s inability to see, but today the same granddaughter has illuminated the entire house with the light of her tunes. Ananya’s tunes have the power that transforms disability into divinity.
