Raipur News: The capital Raipur is going to witness a historic health event this December. The five-day mega health camp to be organized in the Ayurvedic College campus from 18 to 22 December 2025 is being considered as the biggest health camp not only of the city but of the entire Chhattisgarh. In this grand event, it has been decided that renowned doctors will come not only from Chhattisgarh but also from big cities of the country like Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Experts estimate that 75 thousand to one lakh patients can participate in this camp. Last year, 60 thousand registrations were registered in the five-day camp, based on which the number is expected to be more this time.
The camp will be completely free
In-charge of the camp is Dr. J.P. Sharma said that this entire camp will be completely free and experts of all medical systems including allopathy, ayurveda, homeopathy, acupressure, acupuncture, pulse therapy will be available in one premises. For the convenience of the patients, arrangements for blood tests, X-ray, CT scan, MRI, medicines and food are being made completely free of cost.
The specialty of this camp is the thermal scanning machine, which is considered very important for early detection of breast cancer in women. This modern IA machine provides reports in just 5-10 minutes. Experienced oncologists from Bangalore and Delhi will be present for this special investigation. Bangalore’s famous cancer specialist Dr. Ayushi Goyal will also be a part of the camp. Apart from this, Dr. Gambhir Singh and Dr. Manju Singh of Samarpan Hospital will also provide investigation and consultation in various cases.
Along with this, BMD machine for examining bones, Fibroscan machine for examining liver and the nationwide famous Jaipur foot service will also be made available. Dr. Ravi Rathi, co-convenor of the organizing committee, said that last year a world record had been made in distribution of spectacles and this time too many new facilities have been added.
To make the mega camp a success, preparations have been completed to mobilize 40 outside doctors, 250 to 300 local doctors, 30 big hospitals, and 600-700 medical and paramedical staff from across the state. The registration process has been started. Interested patients can register themselves every day from 9 am to 5 pm in the Ayurveda College premises or through online medium.
This mega health camp of Raipur is going to become such a confluence of health services, where a team of expert doctors will provide treatment, investigation and consultation to lakhs of people at one place. This event will not only make health services accessible to the public but can also prove to establish Chhattisgarh at a new level in the field of health management.
