30 year old Anup Tilkut Bhandar
Anup Kumar, shopkeeper of Anup Tilkut Bhandar located in the city market, says that his shop is about 30 years old. He told that this year special enthusiasm is being seen among the people regarding Tilkut. About 50 to 70 kg of Tilkut is being sold daily. Along with this, there is good demand for Almond Patti, Tilva and Lai.

Anup Kumar told that when he started the shop 30 years ago, the price of special Tilkut was Rs 80 per kg. Today the same special Tilakut is being sold at Rs 360 per kg. At the same time, almond strips are being sold at the rate of Rs 200 per kg, Lai at Rs 260 per kg and Khoa Tilkut at Rs 450 per kg.

Regarding special Tilkut, Anup Kumar says that it is the most liked Tilkut. Its special thing is that it is very soft. Be it children or elderly, even people without teeth can eat it easily. It is prepared from jaggery and sugar, due to which its taste and sweetness is excellent. Special Tilakut can be consumed by children or old people also.
