The family feud began almost exactly 35 years ago when Chris Eubank Sr beat Nigel Benn on November 18, 1990 before the pair drew three years later.
Even though there was no title at stake, the magnitude of the rivalry was enough to attract some big names from the world of sports and entertainment.
Actors Jeremy Piven and Pierce Brosnan, musicians Emma Bunton and Rod Stewart, and former Arsenal footballer Thierry Henry were among the stars watching from the ring.
Trying to recover the magic of the first fight was always going to be a problem and it was not possible to achieve a full house.
The arrival of the Eubanks (both this time expected) also provided an interesting insight into public opinion as boos were heard around the stadium. However, it was all applause when Benn was shown getting out of his car.
Benn made his entrance to resounding cheers alongside Father Nigel. They were accompanied to the ring by a percussion group, which began with Phil Collins’ ‘In the Air Tonight’, before moving into a remix of the Fugees’ ‘Ready or Not’.
Eubank Jr walked second, wearing a white fur-lined coat, he also had his father Eubank Sr by his side. They were initially greeted with boos until American rapper 50 Cent came out to perform a medley of songs as they made their way through the crowd.
