ESMA Act implemented in Haryana, doctors will not be able to go on strike for the next 6 months

Haryana Doctors Strike: Showing strictness on the strike of doctors in Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini government has imposed ESMA on the strike in the state. The strike has been banned under sub-section (1) of Section 4 (a) of the Haryana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1974 (40 of 1974).

Chandigarh: Showing strictness on the strike of doctors in Haryana, the Nayab Singh Saini government has imposed ESMA on the strike in the state. The strike has been banned under sub-section (1) of Section 4 (a) of the Haryana Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1974 (40 of 1974). These orders will come into effect from December 8 and doctors and employees of the health department will not be able to go on strike for a period of six months.
