Patna : Singers in Bihar drowned Tejashwi Yadav’s lute. It is not anyone else but the people of RJD themselves who have started saying and believing this. Tejashwi Yadav has identified such singers and sent them a legal notice. About two and a half dozen singers have fallen prey to it. Incidentally, most of them are singers from the same community as Tejashwi Yadav. This is also one of the major reasons that RJD has identified for the crushing defeat of the Grand Alliance in Bihar. Earlier, election songs were necessary for victory and now such songs are being labeled as defeaters. The terror of the songs of well-wishers can be understood from the fact that Samajwadi Party leader and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav is already issuing a warning that the members of UP should avoid songs like Bihar. ,
Election slogans and songs have been bringing victory
In the year 1971, Indira Gandhi gave the slogan of ‘Eliminate Poverty’. It is said that through this slogan he got great success in the elections. However, one of the reasons for his bumper victory was that he played a big role in the partition of Pakistan. East Pakistan was separated from Pakistan and became Bangladesh. In 2014, Narendra Modi got a bumper victory due to the slogan ‘This time Modi government’. Almost every party had one election song or the other. Songs of leftist parties were often heard. Various types of songs were sung for the then socialist parties and Congress also. In every election, songs were composed with new themes.
Echo of negative sentiments of songs in Bihar
Usually election songs with positive messages were played first. This time the Bihar elections have crossed all limits. In the songs sung in regional dialects like Bhojpuri-Magahi, words like Katta, Sixer, Maal, whose names are prohibited in the civilized society, were used indiscriminately. It is surprising that such songs were made by combining RJD leader and Grand Alliance CM face Tejashwi Yadav. Such songs confirmed NDA’s allegations that if the RJD-led grand alliance comes to power, a new era of jungle raj will begin. RJD also believes that due to this the voters changed their mind at the last moment and the Grand Alliance suffered a crushing defeat. That is why Tejashwi has sent legal notices to such singers.
How to sing- ‘Mareb Sixer Ke Six Goli’
A song in support of Tejashwi Yadav resonated a lot in Bihar elections – Mareb Sixer ke six goli chest mein… The context was that Tejasvi Yadav comes from that Yadav caste, in which six Sixer bullets can be put into someone’s chest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned this song in his meetings.
With this he tried to establish that if RJD comes to power, all this will happen. Anyway, BJP was fighting the elections this time citing RJD’s Jungle Raj. The theme of one such song promoting caste inequality was – RJD Sarkar Banto, Yadav Rangdaar Banto (If RJD government is formed, Yadavs will become colourful). Another song similar to this was heard – ‘Tejaswi bhaiya ki sarkar banto, Yadav rangdaar banto.’ Not only this, there was a song – ‘Bhaiya ke aave de satta mein, katta sata ke utha lebo ghar se’. During the elections, many such songs were heard, which were sung with enthusiasm, but no one had guessed their impact at that time. Incidentally, most of its singer-composers were from the Yadav caste.
BJP linked it to RJD’s behavior and character.
All the leaders of NDA along with BJP were already reminding the voters of RJD’s Jungle Raj. Stories of terror of Lalu-Rabri Raj were being told afresh. In a meeting in Muzaffarpur on 30 October 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reminded of the Golu kidnapping case of 2001. He presented this as an example of the crimes of Jungle Raj. Along with Golu, another innocent child was kidnapped and then ransomed. Later Golu was murdered. By mentioning this, the PM cautioned people about RJD’s jungle raj. Nitish Kumar kept saying again and again that earlier in Bihar, no one would go out on the road after the evening, no one would buy a new car? That is, NDA had started cornering RJD and its led Grand Alliance on the already decided issue.
Akhilesh is already terrified
Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has now become alert after seeing the ill effects of songs sung for someone’s well-wish in Bihar. He has already told his well-wishing singers to avoid singing songs like Bihar in UP. That is, now they have also started believing that such songs by well-wisher singers have played a role in the downfall of the Grand Alliance in Bihar. In Bihar, RJD people have even started alleging that such songs were planted by BJP. It is not impossible for this to happen, because in politics various tactics are adopted to win elections. But the surprising thing is that the singers were mostly Yadavs. That means Tejashwi has only the illusion of being the sole leader of 14 percent Yadavs. Yadav has now slipped away from them.
