Jharkhand News: ED team raided the residence of CA Naresh Kejriwar in Ranchi, Jharkhand. All the documents are being examined. Around 15 locations of his and his relatives have been raided.

Ranchi: Big news has come out from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Here the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took major action on the premises of chartered accountant Naresh Kejriwal on Tuesday morning. This is the first raid under FEMA in Jharkhand, conducted under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Money Laundering (PMLA). ED has raided a total of 15 locations of Naresh Kejriwal, his family members and associates located in Ranchi, Mumbai and Surat. His office and residential premises located at the Church Complex in Ranchi are under investigation. The team is investigating documents related to financial transactions and suspicious foreign exchange.
According to the information, the ED team raided the house of Naresh Kejriwal at 6 am on Tuesday morning. Along with this, a total of 15 locations of his family members in Ranchi, Mumbai and Surat have been raided. ED has included Kejriwal’s residential premises including his office at Church Complex in Ranchi under the ambit of the raid. Where all the documents and property are being examined.

It is noteworthy that, ED had started investigation in this matter under FEMA on the basis of facts found during the raid conducted by the Income Tax Department against Naresh Kejriwal. During the initial investigation conducted by ED, evidence of Kejriwal investing money abroad has been found. During the investigation of cases related to investments made abroad, information related to violation of rules has been received. During the initial investigation, the ED team found evidence related to CA Naresh Kejriwal’s investments in Dubai, America and some other countries. On the basis of this, ED has raided the premises of this CA and people associated with it under FEMA.
