Bihar News: Bihar Police is constantly seen in action mode. Early this morning, three big jails of the state were raided. Due to which there was panic among the prisoners. The police searched every nook and corner of the jails.

Patna: As soon as Samrat Chaudhary became the Home Minister, Bihar Police came into action mode. Not only outside the state but also inside the jails, the police is cracking down on criminals. Today (Saturday) early morning raids were conducted in three jails of the state, Patna, Muzaffarpur and Munger. This created panic among the prisoners. Patna District Administration officials and Patna Police team raided Beur jail for about three hours and searched every nook and corner.
A major action was taken on Saturday morning in Beur Central Jail of the capital Patna. The police team under the leadership of City SP East Parichay Kumar and City SP West Mamta Kalyani conducted a special raid operation in Beur jail from 5 am to around 7 am. The police team conducted search operations one by one in several wards of the jail. During this period, suspicious items, mobile phones, prohibited items and activities of prisoners were thoroughly investigated in the barracks. The team included officials from the city police, district police force and jail administration. Jail Superintendent Neeraj Kumar Jha said that it was a sudden routing raid conducted by Patna Police in which nothing was recovered even after staying inside the jail for 2 hours.
Jail raided at 5 am
Senior officials of the district administration and police suddenly raided the Shaheed Khudiram Bose Central Jail of Muzaffarpur early Saturday morning. This action created a stir in the jail premises. Under the leadership of District Magistrate Subrata Kumar Sen, a team of several officers including Senior Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar, City SP Kota Kiran Kumar and SDM Tushar Kumar entered the jail at around 5 in the morning. The team conducted intensive searches of prisoners in various barracks and wards. The prisoners’ beds, belongings, cells and every corner of the jail premises were carefully examined. Officials said that this raid was done to test the security arrangements inside the jail and to check any kind of irregularity or presence of banned items. However, after a long investigation, the officials did not find any objectionable material, mobile phones, narcotics or other prohibited items.
No objectionable items found in Munger
In the early morning today, a police team from several police stations under the leadership of District Magistrate Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar and SP Syed Imran Masood conducted a comprehensive raid in Mandal Jail of Munger district. This action was taken to maintain the law and order of the jail and to investigate various arrangements. SP Syed Imran Masood said that during the investigation, no objectionable material was recovered from any ward of the jail. The law and order in the jail was found to be completely controlled and in accordance with the rules. The officers also talked to the prisoners, but no one made any complaint. The cleanliness, hospital arrangements and other facilities in the jail premises were found satisfactory. The SP also clarified that there was no confirmation of mobile phone being found anywhere in the jail.
