Goyal reiterated the demand for increasing the number of Lok Adalats for cancellation of challans made by battery rickshaw drivers. There has been a long standing call for immediate restoration of battery rickshaws on restricted roads, providing ESI facilities to battery rickshaw drivers on par with auto rickshaw drivers and setting up battery rickshaw stands and charging centers at all metro stations and major intersections. Urged to take immediate concrete steps on the demands.
