New Delhi. Due to the large waiting list, Indian Railways has decided to run two stations from Delhi and Mumbai towards Gorakhpur. There are more AC coaches in both the trains, so that the passengers do not face any problem in the cold. Railways has released the schedule of both the trains. These trains will run on 7th December.
The first train is for Mumbai. Train number 05587 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will leave from Gorakhpur at 11.25 pm on 7th December. It will reach Mumbai at 9 am on December 9 via Basti, Gonda, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Nashik, Igatpuri and Kalyan. In return, train number 05588 will leave Mumbai at 11 am on 9th December and will reach Gorakhpur at 8.15 pm on 10th December. It has 1 First AC, 2 Second AC, 8 Third AC, 4 Sleeper and 4 General coaches.
The second train is for Delhi. Train number 05591 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar special will leave from Gorakhpur at 6 pm on 7th and 8th December. It will reach Anand Vihar at 7.30 the next morning via Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad. In return, train number 05592 will leave from Delhi at 10 am on 8th and 9th December and will reach Gorakhpur at 11.45 pm. This is a fully AC train
Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, Pankaj Kumar Singh said that these special trains are being run. Due to which passengers will get confirmed seats. Booking of both the trains has started on IRCTC app and counter. According to Indian Railways, if needed, more trips will be increased. For this, Railways is taking the help of AI, so that the number of passengers and their departure stations can be known.
