According to the forecast of scientists at the Meteorological Center in Dehradun, the minimum temperature across the state may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the coming four to five days. Due to which the cold will be felt more during the night, whereas due to the bright sunshine during the day, the feeling of cold will be slightly less.
Disappointment on the faces of tourists in Mussoorie
The hopes of the tourists coming to Mussoorie waiting for snowfall do not seem to be being fulfilled. Tourists coming to the ‘Queen of Hills’ Mussoorie for Christmas and New Year celebrations are eagerly waiting for snowfall, but at present there is no possibility of snowfall at all. The irony is that there has been no snowfall in Mussoorie so far. The weather is expected to remain dry this entire week also. If snowfall does not occur soon, disappointment may appear on the faces of tourists.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given many important instructions to promote winter tourism. Now adventure activities like heli skiing and Himalayan car rally will be started in Uttarakhand. KMVN and GMVN have been asked to put all the arrangements in place by December 20.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 8.7 degrees Celsius yesterday. Whereas the maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 23.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 7.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 21.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 22.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 6.3 degrees Celsius.
