Mumbai. Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli is seen getting badly trapped in the drugs case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is slowly tightening its grip on Kohli. The central agency wants to reach every link in the chain of drugs spread across Mumbai and Bollywood. NCB, which is looking for the evidence in depth, got a big success on Monday. NCB has recovered drug related chats from Armaan Kohli’s mobile phone. This can be solid evidence under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act 1985.
After this, the NCB is probing Kohli’s financial transactions regarding the purchase of drugs. If proof of financial transactions is found, then the case against Kohli will become very strong. Apart from this, links of Russians and Nigerians have been found in Ajay Raju Singh, Armaan Kohli’s drug nexus. It is being said that the supplier Ajay Raju Singh was getting drugs from Colombia and Peru.
Ajay Raju Singh allegedly runs a prostitution and drugs racket. Ajay used to supply drugs to Armaan. A chat about drugs has been recovered from Armaan Kohli’s mobile phone. Based on the chat received from Kohli’s phone, NCB is probing whether he is involved in the supply chain of drugs. Kohli has got 1.2 grams of cocaine, which is the quantity consumed. On Monday, 2 drug suppliers were caught by NCB from Juhu area with some quantity of MD. This action has been taken after the arrest of Armaan Kohli.
A special NDPS court in Mumbai on Monday extended the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody of Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli and alleged drug smuggler Ajay Singh till September 1. Kohli and Ajay Singh were arrested by the NCB after raiding the actor’s residence in Mumbai on August 28 and booked under the NDPS Act. He was later produced in the special court for NDPS cases, which remanded him to the NCB’s custody for a day.
