Currently, the apps which have been ordered to be stopped include Alipay, (Camcanner) QQ Wallet, (QQ Wallet) Share It, (Shareit) Tencent QQ, (Tencent) QQ Vimate, V Chat (Wechat) Pay (Pay) and WPS Office. Banned in India
On 29 June 2020, the Indian government had banned 59 apps, making the first digital strike. After that, 47, 118 and 43 apps were banned respectively. The Ministry of Information Technology banned all these apps under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. In this way, in India, a total of 267 apps have been banned in the year 2020.
