State President of Haryana Civil Medical Service Association, Rajesh Khiyalia said on the strike that our demand is to stop the direct recruitment of CMOs and implement the ACP scheme on modified basis. He said that last year the government had agreed to both these demands and there were talks with the Secretary and the GPS. One demand that was agreed upon was that SMOs would not be recruited directly.
