But Ayurveda tells that these problems can be eliminated by consuming two-three things present in the house. Now the question is, what to do in case of flatulence or indigestion at night? Let us know about this-
Remedies to get rid of flatulence and indigestion
Lukewarm water of celery and salt: The most effective and immediately effective remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda. Drinking lukewarm water of celery and salt is the fastest home remedy that provides relief. Ayurvedacharya says that about 30 to 40 minutes after having dinner, mix a pinch of celery rock or black salt in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it slowly. Thymol present in celery expels gas and reduces stomach bloating. This also makes sleep deep and comfortable.
Turmeric-ginger hot water: Another solution is hot water of turmeric and ginger. It is a natural anti-inflammatory drink, especially for those who suffer from heartburn or acidity at night. 40 or 50 minutes before sleeping, mix half a teaspoon of turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice or grated ginger and 1 teaspoon of honey (to taste) in a cup of warm water and drink it slowly. Turmeric reduces inflammation, ginger activates digestive enzymes and lukewarm water relaxes the stomach muscles.
Keep your routine like this: Changes in routine are also necessary because irregular routine is the cause of many problems. Dinner should be light and early i.e. by 7-8 pm. Do not eat curd or cold food from the fridge late at night. Do not lie down immediately after eating, switch off your mobile 1 hour before sleeping. Walk for at least 20-30 minutes a day. It is beneficial to drink lukewarm water little by little throughout the day.
These measures will also provide relief: According to Ayurveda, these problems arise due to Vata Dosha and weak Jathragni. Home spices like celery, turmeric and ginger calm Vata and balance the digestive system. Both these remedies are completely safe, but before adopting this remedy, please consult an Ayurvedic doctor.
