Aligarh. Often the name of Satan comes up in any evil deed. Satan troubles humans and makes them do wrong things. But the question arises that who is this devil, where has he come from and where does he live. The reality of Satan in Islam is not just a story or a name of fear, but a reality which tests human life. According to Islam, Satan has been banished from the court of Allah forever.
Giving information, Muslim religious leader Shahi Chief Mufti Maulana Ifrahim Hussain said that Satan is actually Iblis, who was from the race of Jinnat and was included in the group of angels due to his constant worship. When Allah Almighty intended to create a human being and the body of Hazrat Adam Alaihissalam was completely ready, the angels were ordered to prostrate themselves before Adam. All the angels followed Allah’s orders, but Iblis flatly refused to prostrate.
Maulana said that, after being expelled, Satan promised that he will seduce the children of Adam, mislead them and try to keep them away from Paradise. Allah said that My true and righteous servants will not come under your influence, and those who come will face the consequences in hell along with you. This is why human life is a test. In which he has to choose whether he follows the guidance of Allah or gets trapped in the deception of Satan.
