A man in America lost his life because he could not defecate for almost a month and his caregivers did not take his deteriorating condition seriously. Now the family has made many shocking revelations and allegations regarding his death.

Actually, an American man named James Stewart was suffering from severe constipation for a long time. According to the report, he was not able to defecate for about three to four weeks, due to which about 1.4 stones (8-9 kg) of stool got accumulated in his stomach. This situation became extremely dangerous day by day and ultimately took his life. Due to accumulation of stool, James’s stomach had become very swollen, the pain was continuously increasing and severe weakness had also started appearing in the body. Despite this, the people taking care of him could not understand the seriousness of his deteriorating condition and did not take necessary steps in time.
Family raised questions on death
According to The Mirror, James’s family has filed a wrongful death case in this case. They allege that James’s condition could have been completely prevented had the staff paid attention in time. James lived in a group home called Clear Skies Ahead, where he needed daily help and supervision. According to the documents, James already suffered from constipation and was also taking medicines which increased the digestive problems. According to the family, James was complaining of pain, flatulence and weakness for several days. His behavior was also not the same as before. He remained lethargic, depressed and complained of severe stomach pain throughout the day. His body had also become very weak. All these signs indicated that his condition had worsened, but the staff did not take it seriously.
What happened on the last day?
According to The Mirror, shortly before his death James was asked by a staff member to sit on the toilet, but he was unable to defecate. After some time he was found unconscious in the room. He was taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. James loved music, swimming and sports programs. According to the family, he was a person of very positive nature and negligence in his care took away his life.
