In the preliminary investigation by the police, a sharp knife, intoxicants and a diary were recovered from the youth. The caught youth identified himself as Mohammad Mujahid, resident of Pranpur village, Garhpura police station area. During interrogation, he claimed that he had come only to get his mobile repaired and was not roaming in the college campus with any wrong intention. But the local people have expressed doubt on his words. He says that the young man was doing recce of the college for a long time. Whenever he was interrogated, he would avoid it with some pretext or the other and stay there.

After the increasing suspicion of the local people, the information reached the police. Ratanpur police station reached the spot and took the youth into custody. Officials confirmed that the knife, drugs and diary found during the search of the suspect are being closely examined.
