At the same time, the links of this black business are also being connected to the powerful leader of Purvanchal. Actually, Amit Singh Tata, arrested in this case, is said to be close to former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh. The number of the Fortuner car which STF has recovered from him is UP 65 FN 9777. Bahubali former MP Dhananjay Singh also has vehicles of the same number series.
After the arrest of Amit Singh Tata, many pictures and videos of him along with powerful former MP Dhananjay Singh have also surfaced. In these videos surfaced on social media, Amit Tata is seen around Dhananjay Singh. In some videos, the mastermind of this case, Shubham Jaiswal is also with Dhananjay Singh.
The role of former MP Dhananjay should be investigated
After these videos and pictures surfaced, Azad Adhikar Sena’s national president and former IPS Amitabh Thakur has also written a letter to the UP DGP demanding an investigation into the role of former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh in the cough syrup case worth crores. He has written in his letter that a few days ago he had said that Amit Singh Tata of Jaunpur was behind Shubham Jaiswal in this matter.
Former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh declared himself innocent
So now former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh has written a post on his Facebook post saying that he himself has been implicated in this case. In this long post, he wrote – On the issue of cough syrup, some of my political opponents have spread misinformation about me by misleading the journalist brothers.
In this regard, I would like to inform you that since the issue is related to Kashi/Varanasi, efforts are being made by the leaders of Congress and other parties to tarnish the image of the Honorable Prime Minister by making false allegations. This case is being investigated thoroughly by the state government through various agencies so that the truth of the case will be revealed to everyone.
Since this matter is inter-state, it is requested to the Honorable Prime Minister and Honorable Chief Minister that a comprehensive investigation of this matter should be conducted by CBI so that strict action can be taken against the culprits and absurd allegations and false news can be put to an end.
I also want to tell all of you that in this regard I am with the Honorable Prime Minister and Hon. I am writing a letter to the Chief Minister so that the faces of those spreading misleading news and tarnishing the image of the state government can be exposed.
Shubham absconds from Dubai
Well, now UP STF has arrested Amit Singh Tata. Along with this, Amit Tata has admitted that the mastermind of this case, Shubham Jaiswal and his close associate Gaurav Jaiswal have fled to Dubai. Amitabh Thakur alleged that the role of former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh behind Amit Singh Tata in this case is continuously coming to light, which is clearly visible primarily because of his greater proximity than usual with the accused named in this case. In such a situation, the role of Dhananjay Singh in this matter should also be investigated.
