For this, mainly gram flour (kneaded like flour), celery (as desired), oil for frying, 300 grams of finely chopped jaggery, and a little water is required. This is a traditional recipe with less ingredients and less effort.

Now first of all take two cups of gram flour and add two tablespoons of refined oil and celery to it and mix well. Now add half a cup of water little by little and make a soft dough. Now cover it with a wet cloth and leave it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes the dough will be kneaded again. Now after kneading the flour, put it in lightly oiled polythene. Then make a small cut in one corner of the polythene. In this way the flour and equipment for making sev will be ready.
Now heat oil in the pan. Holding the polythene with light pressure, cut the sev with scissors and drop it directly into the oil. Fry the sev on medium flame while stirring continuously until it becomes golden and crispy. Now add 300 grams finely chopped jaggery and some water in another pan and melt it on low flame. After melting, cook for 4-5 minutes until it thickens slightly. Switch off the gas and add hot gram flour sev to the jaggery and mix well, so that the jaggery coats each sev. Perfect jaggery sev is ready as soon as the jaggery sets.
