Delhi: Delhi Riots (Delhi Riots) Student leader Umar Khalid in case of conspiracy related to (Umar Khalid) Delhi Police opposing the bail plea of (Delhi Police) Said that the main motive of Umar Khalid was to force the central government to kneel and destabilize the basic of democracy. The hearing on the bail plea of Umar Khalid in this case related to the Delhi riots is going on for the last 5 months. Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad, during the hearing in the court, opposed the claims of Umar Khalid in which he had termed the charge sheet filed by the investigating agency as a fiction.
Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad said before Additional Sessions Judge Amitabh Rawat that the main objective of these people through the riots was to destabilize the foundation of democracy regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). These people wanted how to pressure the central government to withdraw the CAA.

Special Public Prosecutor Amit Prasad said that, evidence has been found on the basis of their chats in which it was said that the central government has to be forced to kneel. Referring to the riots in North-East Delhi, Amit Prasad said that, as per the chargesheet, 23 protest sites were set up for the demonstration. Similar placards and banners were used at some protest sites and different teams were formed to monitor. From this it is clear that the riots were planned in a planned manner.
Amit Prasad said that Umar Khalid, through his lawyer, has focused on “irrelevant material” while arguing the bail plea to divert the attention of the court. During the last hearing, Umar Kalid, through his lawyer, had said that there was a protest against a law like CAA.
It is not an offense to commit and the police pressurized the witnesses to give statements against them.
