Delhi government invited tender to build 100 charging stations for EV
At the same time, the Delhi government invited a tender on Friday to build 100 charging stations for electric vehicles in the city. Delhi Energy Minister Satyendra Jain said that Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) has invited tenders for the construction of the charging station and this is the largest tender in the country for the establishment of the charging station.
Jain said that each station will have five charging points, which will total 500 points for charging. He said that the charging station will be constructed within a year. He said that the charging station for all types of electric vehicles will have a minimum of 20 percent ‘slow charger’ and 10 percent ‘fast charger’. Most of these stations will be in the metro station and DTC bus depot.
