The aim is to promote the use of electric vehicles in the National Capital Region. And under this scheme, subsidy of up to 3 lakh rupees is being given for purchasing electric vehicle.

How much discount on which car – To popularize electric vehicles, the Delhi government is offering a discount of Rs 1.50 lakh on the purchase of both the XM and XZ + variants. Along with this, the state government is also giving incentives in the form of road tax exemption and registration fee (registration fee). The road tax and registration fee exemption on the XM variants of the Nexon EV is Rs 1,40,500 while on the XZ + trim this rebate is Rs 1,49,900. That means the total discount on Nexon Ev is more than 3 lakh rupees.

Similarly, Tata is also giving discounts on Tigor Ev. Right now you can be given a discount of up to Rs. 2.86 lakh on the purchase of this Ev, and these amounts will come in your bank account. According to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the government will only hire electric vehicles for the next 6 weeks. Along with this, the Chief Minister has also approached the delivery chains, big companies, malls and cinema theaters to build charging stations to create customized infrastructure for electric vehicles.
Talking about the Switch campaign, CM Kejriwal said that under the ‘Switch Delhi’ campaign, awareness will be created about the benefits of electric vehicles. The public will be told that the use of electric vehicles is necessary to make Delhi pollution free and the public will be encouraged to participate in this campaign.
