Delhi government provided assistance of Rs 3.18 crore
Manish Sisodia on Thursday provided assistance of Rs 3.18 crore to 488 construction workers registered with the Delhi Construction Workers Welfare Board. Under this program, 181 claims of maternity benefit, 131 claims of education benefit, accident, 53 claims of natural death and 51 claims related to pension were disbursed to the workers.

Registered workers get all these benefits
The Delhi Government provides assistance under various schemes to the workers registered with the Delhi Construction Workers Welfare Board. Under this, the assistance amount from 35 thousand to 51 thousand rupees for the workers themselves and son / daughter’s marriage. Assistance amount of 1 lakh if crippled. 500 to 10,000 rupees per month for the education of children. 3000 rupees per month old age pension, 2 lakh rupees on accidental death, 1 lakh rupees on natural death, 30 thousand rupees is given under maternity benefit.
