New Delhi. Delhi Police’s IGI Police Station team (IGI Airport Police Station) has arrested an accused who had given false news about a bomb in an aircraft just before take off. Delhi Police’s IGI Police Station has arrested an accused named Abhinav Prakash, who is originally from Dwarka district of Delhi. The accused told that his childhood friend was delayed in reaching the airport, after which he had sent a false message. The accused works as a trainee in British Airways in Gurgaon.
Actually, this matter is of January 12 when the flight from Delhi to Pune was getting ready to take off at around 6:30 in the evening. Then a message came on the helpline number of Spice Jet that there is a bomb in the flight. (There is a bomb in flight No SG-8938). After receiving this message, an attempt was made to contact that mobile number, but no contact could be made. Because that mobile phone was switched off after sending the message. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, with immediate effect, CISF informed IGI police station and other allied agencies.
There were 182 passengers on board the Spice Jet aircraft.
Being alerted after the information, all the passengers were stopped and all the passengers were stopped with immediate effect and for about three hours all the passengers including the inside and outside of that plane were checked, but when nothing suspicious was found then that plane Issued the order to fly at around 9.30 pm. There were 182 passengers in that plane who were trapped in the shadow without any reason of trouble and fear.

The accused told the reason for the false call
Abhinav Kumar has been arrested for making a fake call that there was a bomb in the plane. When he was questioned in this matter, he told that his childhood friend Rakesh alias Bunty and Kunal Sehrawat had gone to Manali by road for a holiday with their two female friends. On the evening of January 12, both those girls were to return to Pune in the same Spice Jet plane, but it was too late to come by road in order to have fun and hang out with each other. After that, after a mutual conversation to help him, making a big mistake for a friend, Abhinav sent a fake message about a bomb in the plane to Spice Jet’s customer care mobile number. After which there was chaos at Delhi airport for a long time.
2 absconding accused will be arrested soon
According to DCP Ravi Kumar Singh of IGI Airport, both the accomplices of the arrested accused Abhinav Prakash, Rakesh alias Bunty and Kunal Sehrawat are currently absconding. To find them, our team is engaged in investigation along with ACP Virendra More, SHO Yashpal Singh and Inspector Virendra Pakhde, SI Prema Ram, ASI Suresh. Soon both those absconding accused will also be arrested.
