New Delhi: A very interesting picture emerged in the winter session of Parliament on Wednesday. Even though swords were drawn in politics, a mobile screen brought the party and the opposition together. Union Minister Chirag Paswan, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda and Shiv Sena (UBT)’s Priyanka Chaturvedi were captured in the same frame. The eyes of the three leaders were fixed on a mobile phone. The viewer of the picture is asking what was there in that mobile that even the opponents came together to see it. This scene was seen when the political atmosphere was at its peak inside and outside the Parliament. On one hand, there was an uproar by Congress over the rejection of ED’s charge sheet, while on the other hand, Modi government made a major surgical strike on the old laws.
They collided, shook hands and then got lost in their mobiles… what was going on there?
A strange coincidence took place in the Parliament complex on Wednesday. Deependra Hooda and Chirag Paswan collided with each other while walking. Both of them stopped and shook hands warmly. Then Priyanka Chaturvedi also reached there. Hooda took out his mobile from his pocket and started showing something to Priyanka.

Chirag Paswan’s eyes also fixed on the same screen. Priyanka Chaturvedi was seen navigating or scrolling something on the mobile. In PTI’s pictures, all three leaders were seen looking deeply into their mobile phones. This ‘candid moment’ was captured in the cameras. Forgetting political enmity, this chemistry of the three leaders has become a topic of discussion.

Chains of slavery broken: Modi government trashes 71 old laws
Apart from the viral mobile photo, a lot of work was done inside the house. Parliament approved the ‘Repeal and Amendment Bill, 2025’. Under this, 71 old and useless laws will be abolished or amended. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that this is an exercise to erase the traces of slavery. Since 2014, the Modi government has abolished 1,577 useless laws. Now the word ‘Speed Post’ will be written in place of ‘Registered Post’ in the laws. Meghwal clearly said that discriminatory laws cannot remain in the books under Modi rule.
Hindu-Muslim discrimination ends: Government’s big attack on the law of will
The Law Minister described the Indian Succession Act of 1925 as colonial. He said that there was discrimination on the basis of religion. In Calcutta, Madras and Bombay Presidencies, Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists had to obtain ‘Probate’ i.e. letter of administration for the will. Whereas Muslims did not have to take probate for doing this work. The government has removed this discriminatory provision. Apart from this, disaster management law has also been improved. There was a mistake in the word ‘Prevention’ which is now being changed to ‘Preparation’.
Modi should apologize: Congress’s aggressive performance as soon as Sonia-Rahul get relief
Congress’s anger erupted outside the House. Delhi court refused to accept ED’s chargesheet in the National Herald case. After this, Congress MPs demonstrated strongly at Makar Dwar. Holding big banners of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in their hands, the MPs demanded apology and resignation from PM Modi. They raised slogans loudly. The court said that the ED’s allegation is based on the complaint of a private person. This is not on any FIR. Congress has called it its big victory. Amidst this uproar, that smiling picture of the leaders of the opposition in the Parliament went viral.
