Banphulpura Supreme Court News: The hearing of the case is going on in the Supreme Court from January 2023. In view of the possible decision of the Supreme Court, heavy security arrangements have been made in Haldwani. The area of Banbhulpura has been converted into a cantonment. RPF and paramilitary personnel are deployed along with the state police.
Haldwani: The Supreme Court’s decision on the Banbhulpura case of Haldwani, Uttarakhand may come in some time. As a precautionary measure, a blockade has been imposed in the area and the movement of outsiders has been stopped. Today everyone is waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of railway encroachment in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. More than three and a half thousand houses built in this area are under encroachment, in which more than 5200 families and more than fifty thousand population live. Therefore, the police have stopped the movement of outsiders by setting up a precautionary blockade in the area.
High Court’s decision has been challenged in the Supreme Court

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court.
CM Dhami’s statement on Banbhulpura case
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “In the Banbhulpura case, whatever position should have been presented in the court from our side, from the government’s side, has been presented. Whatever decision the court gives, it will be accepted by us. We have issued a notice to those breaking the law and encroaching. The administration will do its work.”
