Ingredients for making dates barfi
400 grams dates
50 grams almonds (sliced)
50 g cashew nuts
20 grams poppy seeds
50 grams dried grapes
25 gm coconut (grated)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
75 grams Ghee
Date of making dates barfi
In a pan, fry the poppy seeds on low heat and keep aside. Now grind the dates.
Fry all dry fruits on low heat. When it starts to brown, add grated coconut and cardamom powder.
Mix it well and add dates to it and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Take it out in a plate and spread it very well and slice it and sprinkle poppy seeds over it.
Cut the barfi into desired shape and wait for it to cool down. Take your dates barfi is ready.
Cover the date barfi and keep it in a container.
