Breakfast of curd-chuda is available
Devotees say that eating one plate of curd-chuda fills a person’s stomach. After the puja, freshness is also felt in the body. Along with taste, purity is the biggest specialty of this shop, due to which local people as well as devotees coming from far away places come here regularly to have breakfast. Shop operator Dinesh Kumar says that his shop remains open from 7 am to 6 pm. The number of devotees here increases further during the month of Sawan, Mondays and special festivals. On an average, more than 100 devotees come here every day to have breakfast of Dahi-Chuda. While on the one hand the devotees get spiritual peace by visiting Basukinath Dham, the Dahi-Chuda here connects them with the traditional taste and simplicity. This is the reason why the journey of the devotees coming to Basukinath is considered incomplete without Dahi-Chuda.
