Yellow alert for three hours
Yellow alert has been issued for many districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry including Chennai for the next three hours. IMD has said that light to moderate rain along with thunderstorm and lightning is expected.

According to the latest update of IMD, Cyclonic Storm Ditvaah is expected to move north parallel to the coasts of North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The Meteorological Department further said, ‘Moving northwards, the cyclonic storm will lie at least 70 km off the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast and 30 km south-west of the Bay of Bengal by the afternoon and evening of today, 30 November.’
